Description
These barns use to be dairy barns made by the Brown Family who use to own this marsh land as a farm. They were built back in 1934.
When the land became designated as a wildlife refuge, the government kept the barn as it was used by many of the smaller birds as a nesting shelter. The barns are slowly dilapidating so I'm not sure whether the USFS will let it go "back into the land" or try to maintain it.
