Kona is known for its awesome sunsets and perfect vantages and viewpoint from the shoreline to the hillside. This is taken from Wawaloli Beach Park. A wonderful park, largely only known to locals away from any tourist areas and largely surrounded by commercial entities. This place is excellent for its tidepools but also known for its strong current as it smashes the coastline. The view here looks on towards the afternoon storms that roll into Kona. These rocky forms were made by a very old lava flow.
