Another classic Hawaiian beach sunset along the Hamakua coast North of Hilo. Here, at Laupahoehoe Point, you can view parts of the coast line and it�s steep cliffs. I perched myself on some larger rocks to avoid getting splashed by the strong current. I was skeptical of sunset here since the sky was a mush just a few hours prior and since driving along the coast line here takes time, I chose to stick around rather than scout for a new location. Soon enough, the clouds began to separate enough for an opening to occur. Things worked out!
